People often don’t listen to Luna. She’s odd, and therefore they think her opinion probably isn’t worth much. Hermione tends to think talking to her is a waste of time, but Harry doesn’t. He saw part of himself in Luna, and by listening to her, he found that she had a lot to say worth listening to.
